Iapos;m speachless.....

Sept 17 I get a "award letter" stating that I will recieve SSI starting october,
DSHS is told this, and adjusts my check accordingly. Great they have been paying me $300 cash and $120 in food stamps on the 10th... Not alot, but Iapos;m scraping by.

OK you say, One agency taks over for the other, makes sense. DSHS tells me that SSI will pay on the same schedule...

Oct 14, SSI still hasnapos;t paid. When contacted the answer is that "sometime in the next 60 days is average for payment with SSI"....

I wonder what these people would do if thier paychecks were delayed 60 days?

Hell just the penalites for late payment of the few debts I have will wipe out the check I expect to recieve.

The bank wiped out my account covering Mausapos; overdrafts and now SSI will make sure that I continue into this spiral.

Am I supposed to be impressed with the efficancy of the system?
